How To Take Sodium Bicarbonate (Sodiheal 500) 500 mg
This medicine should be taken 1 to 3 hours after meals. Try to take it at the same time each day.
Sodium bicarbonate must be taken regularly for it to be effective. Continue taking this medicine even when you feel better. Do not stop taking it unless instructed by the doctor.
Take Sodium bicarbonate precisely as directed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the label. Do not take more or less than instructed by your doctor.
Dosage of Sodium Bicarbonate (Sodiheal 500) 500 mg
Adult: Urine alkalinization: Up to 10 g/day in divided doses with sufficient fluid intake. Chronic metabolic acidosis ≥4.8 g/day as needed.
Dyspepsia: 1-5 g when needed.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, skip the missed dose and return to your regular dosing schedule. If you often forget to take your medicine, let your doctor and pharmacist know.
Do not double a dose under any circumstances.
Overdose
If you think you may have used Sodium Bicarbonate more than the usual dose, please seek medical help immediately.
