Pregabalin (Pregarica-150) 150 mg capsules is structurally similar to gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which is an inhibitory neurotransmitter. It is used to help control certain types of epilepsy (also known as seizures or fits). It is also used to treat pain due to damaged nerves and fibromyalgia.

How To Take
This medicine may be taken with or without food. Try to make it at the same time each day.
This medicine is available as a capsule or as an oral solution.
If you are taking an oral solution, use the oral syringe provided to measure your dose.
Your doctor will decide the dose of this medicine. Your doctor will advise you on the course of your treatment, depending on your condition and response to the medication.
Pregabalin must be taken regularly for it to be effective. Continue taking this medicine even when you feel better. Do not stop taking it suddenly as this may worsen your condition.
Take Pregabalin precisely as directed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the label. Do not take more or less than instructed by your doctor.
Dosage of Pregabalin (Pregarica-150) 150 mg
Adult: Neuropathic pain: Initial:150 mg/day, may increase to 300 mg daily after a 3-7 days interval. Maximum dose of 600 mg/day after an additional seven days interval. All doses to be given in 2-3 divided doses.
Adjunct in partial seizures; Epilepsy: Initial:150 mg/day, may increase to 300 mg daily after one week. Maximum dose of 600 mg daily after an additional week. All doses to be given in 2 or 3 divided doses.
Fibromyalgia: Initial: 150 mg daily, may increase to 300 mg daily after one week. A maximum dose of 450 mg daily, if necessary. All doses to be given in 2 or 3 divided doses.
Anxiety: Initial: 150 mg daily, may increase in increments of 150 mg weekly. Maximum dose of 600 mg daily. All doses to be given in 2 or 3 divided doses.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, skip the missed dose and return to your regular dosing schedule. If you often forget to take your medicine, let your doctor and pharmacist know.
Do not double a dose under any circumstances.
Overdose of Pregabalin (Pregarica-150) 150 mg
Signs of overdose may include the following:
- Somnolence
- Confusional state
- Agitation

- Coma

Pregabalin is an analog of the neurotransmitter GABA that potently binds to the α2-δ subunit resulting in the transition of calcium channels and the reduction of several neurotransmitters glutamate, norepinephrine, serotonin, dopamine, calcitonin gene-related peptide, and substance P release.
