How Does Ofloxacin + Ornidazole (Healing O2) 200 mg + 500 mg Work?
Ofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone which inhibits bacterial topoisomerase IV and DNA gyrase enzymes required for DNA replication, transcription, repair, transposition and recombination. It has antibacterial activity against a wide range of gram negative and gram positive microorganisms. Ornidazole is a 5-nitroimidazole derivative active against protozoa and anaerobic bacteria. It is converted to reduction products that interact with DNA to cause destruction of helical DNA structure and strand leading to a protein synthesis inhibition and cell death in susceptible organisms.
