How Does Baclofen (Bacloheal 25 mg) 25 mg Work?
Baclofen is a GABA-B receptor agonist that inhibits both monosynaptic and polysynaptic reflexes in the spinal cord by acting as an inhibitory neuronal transmitter or by blocking excitatory synaptic transmission through hyperpolarisation of afferent terminals. This stimulation results in the inhibition of excitatory neurotransmitter (glutamate and aspartate) release, which may generally contribute to pain and muscular hypertonicity with increased tendon reflexes.

Baclofen is used to treat the following conditions:
- Severe chronic spasticity
